I have become such a fan of wraps! I love to make them at home, but when I found out that McDonald’s was adding them to their menu, I was very excited. Now I can get my chicken and wrap fixes when I’m on the go!
The new Premium McWraps are available with strips of grilled or crispy chicken, and the warm tortilla is also filled with fresh spring greens and shredded lettuce. The added sauces round out the entree to make it a flavorful experience. There are three flavor options, such as:
- Sweet Chili Chicken McWrap: sweet chili sauce, creamy garlic sauce and sliced cucumbers
- Chicken & Bacon McWrap: creamy garlic sauce, bacon, cheddar/jack cheese and tomato
- Chicken & Ranch McWrap: ranch sauce, seasoned rice vinegar, cheddar/jack cheese, sliced cucumbers and tomato
The Chicken & Ranch variety is definitely my favorite! I actually just had one for lunch yesterday. The wrap is the perfect size to be eaten alone as a meal. Plus, the wraps begin at 350 calories so they are great for someone watching their weight – or trying to lose some.
The convenient box the wrap comes in allows you to eat it mess-free, even when in the car. It tears around the center so that the top is removed, leaving the bottom half for you to hold the wrap…and to prevent any of the fresh ingredients inside from escaping!
Introducing the Premium McWrap is just another way that McDonald’s is broadening their menu and meeting the needs of their customers. Their burgers and nuggets are yummy, but sometimes you want something a little different, right? This is just one way for the restaurant to bring you new and convenient options for food that is tasty and made with high-quality ingredients.
