Last month, I blogged about the Premium McWrap from McDonalds. I’m pretty sure I expressed my love for the new menu item. Since then, I’ve been spreading the word and getting others to try them. They are a great main course, especially when on the go. They have been well received amongst my family and friends.
Many of the comments I hear about the McWrap is the great taste. It’s like a salad that you can hold in your hand. It’s not feasible to order a real salad when you are hitting the drive-thru, but this wrap makes a great alternative. And with three flavor choices (in grilled or fried chicken) you have several options to hit any salad craving you may have.
Others have commented on how filling the Premium McWraps are. Though they only begin at 350 calories, they can make a great meal all by themselves. Of course, they also go great with McDonalds fries, if you love them like we do.
The convenient box that the McWraps come in are a great feature as well. The top portion can be tore away so that you can eat the wrap without its contents spilling everywhere. This is definitely a bonus when you are in the car and trying not to make a mess. Lettuce and other loose ingredients can spill easily, but not with the packaging McDonalds offers.
Lastly, the difference in a menu item like the Premium McWrap is a welcoming change. Most grab a burger when they head to the restaurant, but now you can order something different – that still tastes delicious! If you haven’t tried a Premium McWrap from McDonalds yet, I highly recommend you do soon. Though they are on the menu permanently, you shouldn’t deny your taste buds and tummy any longer.
If you’ve tried the McWrap, what do you like most about it? Which flavor choice is your favorite?
